JobAlerta is a job alert service that monitors LinkedIn and other sources for new job postings matching your preferences. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to provide the service.

1What we collect

Email address — To send you job alert emails and identify your account

Job preferences — Job titles, location, years of experience, H1B filter settings

Resume content — Only if you upload one — stored securely, used only for tailoring

Job history — Which jobs we've already shown you, to avoid duplicates

Send you job alert emails matching your preferences

Tailor your resume to matching job descriptions (if uploaded)

Deduplicate jobs so you never see the same posting twice

4Third party services

Clerk — Authentication — handles sign in securely

Resend — Email delivery — sends your job alerts

Railway — Cloud hosting — where your data is stored

Anthropic — AI resume tailoring — job descriptions sent to Claude API

5Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. Job history older than 90 days is automatically deleted. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 24 hours.

6Your rights

Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you

Delete — permanently delete your account and all data

Export — download your job history and preferences

Opt out — stop all emails at any time from account settings
